Nicholas Parkhouse DM MCh FRCS - Plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon
Nick Parkhouse has been a consultant plastic and reconstructive surgeon since 1991 and has special interests in the treatment of scarring disfigurement and aesthetic/cosmetic surgery of the face, breasts and abdomen. Nick has been based at the famous Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead since 1994.
He trained at Oriel College, Oxford, and the Middlesex Hospital and carried out research into wound healing for which he was awarded a Hunterian Professorship of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1990. He was Editor of the British Journal of Plastic Surgery from 1997 to 2002 and is a full member and Mentor to the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS).
Nick is married and has four children. In his spare time he enjoys flying and fishing.

Sir Michael Davies KCB
After a lifetime's service in the House of Lords Michael Davies was appointed Clerk of the Parliaments in 1997, a post he held for 6 and a half years until retirement in 2003.
He was President of the worldwide Association of Secretaries General of Parliaments, 1997-2000.
Since retirement he has served as a non-executive member of the Audit Committee of the National Audit Office and has undertaken regular consultancy engagements to the Parliaments of developing countries.
He was appointed KCB in January 2002.

Gen Sir Alexander Harley KBE CB
Formerly Adjutant General of the Army and currently Senior Military Advisor Thales Air Systems, Alexander Harley is also Chairman Purple International; Master Gunner St James's Park; Governor King's School, Bruton; and Honorary Vice President Raleigh International.

The Rt Hon Sir John Stanley MP
Sir John was born in 1942. He won a Trevelyan Scholarship to Lincoln College, Oxford, where he read Modern History. He later studied at Syracuse University, USA. He is married with two children. In 1984 Sir John was made a Privy Counsellor, and in 1988 he was knighted.
Before his election to Parliament he was a senior Financial Executive with Rio Tinto Zinc. He was formerly a Research Associate of the International Institute for Strategic Studies and has also been a member of the Conservative Party`s Research Department with responsibility for Housing.
