Manchester - Manchester Children's Burn Camp
◊ Funding towards a Young Leader Training Programme - - Project to train 5 17 - 18 year olds burn survivors who have already attended summer camps to become leaders and trainers for future children's summer camps
Bristol and Swansea - Frenchay After Burns Club and Welsh Dragon Burns Club
◊ Funding weekend workshop for young adults 18 to 25 year old who have suffered from burn injuries filling the gap when suddenly leaving the support network of children to that of young adults - this is a first of its kind in the UK!
Glasgow Royal Infirmary Burns Unit
◊ Funded conversion of space for a rehabilitation/gym area
Frenchay Burns Unit - Bristol
◊ Funding Multi-Parameter Monitors in high dependency burns unit which will ensure a far higher ability to monitor and prevent infection.
QueenVictoria Hospital East Grinstead - Burns Unit
◊ Funding 3:1 Mesher for use when skin grafting burns patients. This will result in a better cosmetic result whilst making best use of the skin obtained
Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge
◊ Assistance towards young burn victim and family whose home was burned to the ground
Sheffield Teaching Hospital
◊ Funds towards furnishing an Adult Therapy Room
Chelsea & Westminster Hospital London
◊ Funded Clinical Psychologist for three years
◊ Regular London Area Burn Survivor Support Group meetings
